
An Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress, producer and writer. Davis was a professional since 3 years old, and she was featured in commercials on television. While she was still a kid, Davis was spotted on the show Charles In Charge. The show ranked number one in the syndication market. Josie received three nominations, and won the respected Youth In FIlm Award for the role she played as Sarah Powell. Davis is an adult has been featured in a variety of TV films as well as won Lifetime Movie Network two awards for his efforts. Davis got the opportunity to enroll in the USC's Writing Program. However, she chose to pursue acting and took classes with Paul E Richards, who died in 1998, for the next 20 years. Davis when she was of 24, auditioned with some of the most famous actors in Hollywood: Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell, as well as Martin Landau. After just one audition, Davis was admitted to the renowned Actors Studio as a member with work privileges. Later, she was elevated to a Lifetime Membership following a request for a callback. Davis was the only one of two actors who were accepted into the Actors Studio at the time.
